Picture this: you’re minding your business, living your day-to-day life, but you can’t shake the thought of a ‘What if?’ situation with someone you met many years ago. The archetypal one that got away. You selfishly wish the stars would align in your favor, and that they would ditch their prior engagements that have separated you – whether another relationship or moving far away for their career. You fondly think of them, and daydream about how good it woulda/coulda/shoulda been between you two. You think about them often. Then *poof* your subconscious manfestation works, and the Universe brings you two together.

Multi-platinum artist, Halsey has beautifully illustrated this scenario in their latest single “So Good” (Produced by Tobias Karlsson and Max Martin), paired with a cinematic video, complete with seamless scene transitions! Directed by Turkish-American screenwriter, producer, actor and director (and Halsey’s real-life partner/the father of their child), Alev Aydin, who also stars in the video. The pair have teamed up with Samsung to place the Freestyle projector in the scenes to showcase home movies of their life together. The main concept gives us viewers a glimpse of how the pair fell in love, which adds another layer of sweetness to this already stunning video!

Earlier this month, Halsey celebrated the fifth anniversary of the release of hopeless fountain kingdom, The Recording Industry Association of America have announced that the album had attained double Platinum status, just like Halsey’s third album, Manic. Both albums debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Current Album Sales chart – as did 2021’s If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power. Halsey has amassed over 31 billion combined global streams to date, including more than 12.5 billion U.S. streams, and has sold nearly 17 million albums across the globe.
