“Where Is The Enemy?” is a powerful rock/rap song that narrates the story of refugees fleeing from war in search of a better future. However, the journey towards a new beginning isn’t always smooth as they encounter hurdles and unexpected outcomes. Adrien Brown, a rapper from Tampa, Florida, delivers a powerful message through his lyrics, which were later mastered by Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound. The song beautifully sheds light on the struggles of those who have faced the harsh realities of war and persecution, leaving their homes behind in search of a brighter tomorrow, but often finding themselves in dire situations. It is a moving rendition of the plight of refugees that resonates with many across the world.
Jon Marom Project is the brainchild of Juan Pedro Romero Martínez, a highly accomplished musician known for his guitar skills, songwriting, and producing prowess. Born on November 25, 1979, near Barcelona, Spain, Juan took an early interest in music and picked up the guitar at the age of 17. He quickly honed his skills and joined the ranks of the Khru-bai band before moving on to work with noted bands like Plowshare and Blindpoint.
Over the years, Juan has recorded three albums with Plowshare, won several local competitions, and shared the stage with international bands like Sepultura, Napalm Death, Primal Fear, and Ratos de Porao. In 2018, he became a definitive part of Blindpoint and worked on their first album “Through the Ashes of Life” at the end of 2019. In 2020, Juan announced his personal project under the name Jon Marom Project.
As a composer, producer, and mixer, Juan has worked with international singers for his songs, and each track showcases a different vocalist. His style blends rock-metal with hip-hop, rap, and electronic touches, giving his music a unique character. And while his work is known for these distinct elements, Juan himself reserves the right to explore other styles and push the boundaries of his artistry.
In 2019, Juan’s MacBook was stolen in Rotterdam, and he lost all his projects halfway through. But he bounced back by buying a new one and remaking all his songs from scratch, improving on them from memory. Today, Juan is all set to weave his magic through Jon Marom Project and captivate music lovers around the world.
