Exploring the Depths of Loneliness: Unpacking Noak Hellsing's New Single, "When The Shadows Go Home"

20-year-old Stockholm-based artist, Noak Hellsing’s new single, ‘When The Shadows Go Home’, explores the depths of loneliness and darkness, and deals with the difficulty of connecting with others. It is about finding solace and happiness within one’s solitude.

Starting his musical interest at the tender age of five, Noak also started playing the guitar, then singing and playing the piano. Noak started writing songs of his own, influenced by modern pop vocalists and older music, and tries to mix these expressions without deviating from what he considers his own sound. Noak is enthusiastic when he talks about his music, and even if the songs rest on a solid foundation of pop, the most important thing for him is that the music makes room for the lyrics and stories he wants to tell.

Noak Hellsing is undeniably going somewhere, and fast. His first single Lost proved his singing capacity, but also his ability as a songwriter, and this spring he will show new sides of himself with new singles and an EP.
