Sometimes you hit “play” on a brand new song in which the vibe takes you back to two decades ago when the world was a simpler place. Just stripped down to raw vocals, instruments, non-profane language. It’s refreshing in contrast to a lot the music out there these days.
Cleveland-based one-man band, Paul Kulis, better known as Proof I Exist brought on this nostalgic feeling in his latest single “Hard To Believe”! The composition is simple, yet has many layers of sonically pleasing elements, plus an encouraging message to keep pushing toward making your wildest dreams reality!
After being heavily active in the Cleveland music scene, his first full length album, Suburban Sci-Fi, made waves in 2011 on several college radio stations and hit the top 20 albums played on one Ohio station where it was in heavy rotation. Indie feats like that, as well as having landed a licensing deal with MTV in his teens have enouraged Kulis to continue on his musical journey . After accumlating several albums worth of material, White Picket Fences marks the first album release of many more.
