Back in the early 2000s, I was one of those people who played the “Supersexy Swingin’ Sounds” album by White Zombie on loop, so when I found out that Rob Zombie playing this year’s Arizona Bike Week, I was super stoked for all the elated fans who will be attending this event on Friday April 8! When I found out Phoenix-based industrial metal band, Soundmankillz will be direct support, I was doubly enraptured, as I know Rob Zombie fans will absolutely love them!
Super-charged by virtuosic guitar riffs, the palpitating marriage between the bass and drums, woven with aggressive, omnipotent lead vocals, Soundmankillz’s vigorous set is like a shot of Espresso!
Since 2013, Soundmankillz has shared the stage with bands such as Buckcherry, Stabbing Westward, Tommy Vext, Filter, Orgy, Trivium, Otherwise, Gemini Syndrome, Suicidal Tendencies, & Butcher Babies just to name of few.
If you’re a rock fan, you may have clicked on this article because you recognize one of the faces in the thumbnail: Dan Johnson is most known as the longtime drummer for the bands Red, as well as Love and Death (led by Korn guitarist, Brian “Head” Welch), respectively. He officially joined Soundmankillz in early 2021, and they have since been diligently working hard behind the scenes!
