Formed in 2019, The Love Robots are a New Jersey-based alternative group spearheaded by Jon Vick and Charley Ruegger. Both musicians have a rich history in the music industry, previously performing together as The Stereo Police from 2005 to 2010. Seeking to expand their sound, they enlisted the talents of bassist Will Donaway and drummer Ross Medine during the quarantine period in 2020. The resulting collaboration allows the band to blend their diverse musical backgrounds into a cohesive and distinctive sound.
