A fine combo of old-school funk and alternative hip-hop, exciting new artist, MXRTY THE PXRTY brings the summer party with the latest single “Head Over Feet”! The American artist wrote this song with long-time friend Chazei, who is also featured on the single. They drank a bottle of their favorite gin with the goal to write something fun, rather than micromanage the creation process.

“Yakusoku” by Low Mak is sonically the perfect marriage of soft and hard, with a singer with soft, dulcet tones, and a heavy bassline!
Low Mak is a Portuguese music producer/dj based in Madrid, Spain. His debut was in 2018. Within a year, he played in the biggest electronic music festival in Portugal “RFM Somnii” where he shared the stage with acts such as Steve Angelo, Alan Walker, Garmiani, Cesqeaux and Corey James. A year later, he released his first single “YGUOL”, his first EP You Can’t Fucking Stop Me, and later on the singles “The Heartless”, “Le Noir”, “Le Rouge”, “Xenia”, “Existence” and “Enceladus”. Low Mak’s musical influences include different genres such as industrial, metal, mid-tempo and bass music, as well as artists like Rezz, Gesaffelstein, Nine Inch Nails and Deftones.

What really caught my attention about this song is the unexpected fairy theme in the video! The stunning, whimsical aesthetic and serene visuals are such a contrast to the subject matter, which I love!
“This is a song about being in love with someone whose words can put you into a deep trance by saying all the things you want to hear. Only to realize that it was all a cover up for their demons and battles that were placed on you and ultimately, broke you. So when their words come out again, they mean nothing anymore because they ‘Said It After’ struck the heart for the last time.” Summy confides.

She is secretly wanting to leave as she knows it’s wrong and unrealistic, but she is still infatuated with the person.
