“The Spiral” by Ancira, a Post-Hardcore band hailing from California, was profoundly influenced by the personal growth of one of its members after the loss of his own father. Originating from Southern California, Ancira is a four-piece Post-Hardcore band that introduced their debut single “All That We Know” just prior to the onset of the 2020 COVID pandemic. As a result, the band experienced a temporary hiatus until they reconvened in the Spring of 2022 to resume their songwriting endeavors. Exhibiting a sound reminiscent of bands like A Day To Remember, Saosin, Neck Deep, and Knuckle Puck, Ancira embarked on their musical journey led by frontman and guitarist Drew Stone, previously associated with The City’s Finest. Determined to assemble a group of like-minded musicians driven by an unwavering passion for creating fresh music, the band enlisted the talents of bassist Rob Bonham, Rich Hatfield, and Jimmy Brooks.
