FRANCE'S SDSM UNLEASH THE BEATS ON THEIR HARDTECH/ACID MASTERPIECE, "SUPERSONIC"

“Supersonic” by the French producer quartet, SDSM, stands out among electronic dance songs for its nostalgic late ’90s dance vibe. The track takes me back to Electric Circus, the classic Canadian Friday night dance show that once dominated airwaves. The singer’s vocals, which layer beautifully over the industrial sounds, reminiscent of the iconic Shirley Manson from the band, Garbage, contribute to the hardtech/acid masterpiece. Expertly composed, the song can get even the most reluctant to move, but it slow downs halfway through, allowing dancing listeners to catch their breath before thrusting the aggressive beats down with ferocity once again, igniting the atmosphere with electrifying energy.

SDSM is not your ordinary group of French electronica producers. These four hardtech/hardcore/acid/electro maestros do not shy away from their demons; rather, they harness them to create their unique sound. They call their music “vocal banger” with lyrics that delve deep into their psyches. The result is an electrifying and introspective journey for both the artists and their listeners.
